My Story

For years I knew something
was off, and I had no idea what.

No matter what I did or achieved, something major felt missing. I was living inside a shell of anxiety, doubt, and a mind that would not stop. Everyone else seemed to know who they were. But who was I? Years of therapy gave me the diagnosis, never the results. I had insomnia, and I was sure I was just a broken sleeper.

Then, in 2022, I had my first hypnosis session. For the first time I felt something like unconditional love, and I saw my whole life at once, as if from above. Why I had made my choices. What I had carried. And, finally, what I needed. To find my way back to myself.

Hundreds of sessions later, first as a client, now as a practitioner, my sleep returned and I came off the benzodiazepines I had leaned on for years. Hypnosis helped me relax around my own mind enough for the change to hold. I was never broken. That one belief, rewritten, set me free.

This is the work I do now, for capable, sensitive people who carry everyone else's weight and slowly lose themselves in it. I help loosen the conditioning that was never really yours, until what is left is simply you. That return to yourself is the most freeing thing I know.

What you may be wondering.

Am I really in a trance? Will I lose control?
Hypnosis is a state of focused, relaxed attention, not unconsciousness. You stay aware the whole time, you remember the session, and you can end it whenever you like. You cannot be made to do or believe anything against your values. Most people describe it as the absorption of being lost in a good film or book.
Will one session fix this? How long does change take?
Honestly, no. If a belief or pattern has been with you for years, a single half-hour will not dissolve it, and anyone who promises that is overselling. Real change is a process. Many people feel something shift early on, but the deeper reprogramming settles over a series of sessions. We go at the pace the work genuinely needs.
Do I get recordings? Will I learn self-hypnosis?
Yes to both. When we do affirmation work for deeper reprogramming, I record it and send it to you to reinforce between sessions. And I teach you self-hypnosis, so you leave with a practice you can use for life. The tools become genuinely yours.
Do I have to be spiritual? What if I am religious?
Neither is required, and both are welcome. The method itself is grounded in evidence and practical technique, and it works the same whatever your faith or worldview. I work with people of every belief system, religious and secular alike, and nothing about your own is ever challenged or replaced. Most of the people I see simply want a specific result, and that is exactly where we keep our focus.
Can we work on deeper or harder things?
Yes. Alongside core hypnotherapy, I am trained in parts work and regression, approaches well suited to older wounds and trauma. Where it serves your goal, I may suggest we go there, and you are always free to say when. It is a collaboration throughout.
Is hypnotherapy evidence-based?
There is a meaningful body of peer-reviewed research supporting hypnotherapy, particularly for pain, IBS, anxiety, sleep, and phobias, and it has long been recognized as a legitimate therapeutic tool by major professional bodies. Hypnotherapy supports, rather than replaces, medical or psychological care, and where it would help, I am glad to work alongside your doctor or therapist.
Do you work online? Where are you based?
I am based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and work with clients entirely online via video for now. Online sessions are just as effective for most goals. All you need is a quiet, private space and a stable connection. The session itself feels the same as being in the room together.
